Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Since 1957 we have grown fruit with full traceability. Today we apply the same rigour to protecting your data. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data do we process and where does it come from?

Only what you give us:

  • Contact form on this website: name, email address and the message you write to us.
  • Emails and calls to our offices: identification and contact details, and the company details needed for a business relationship.

We do not process special categories of data or create profiles.

3. What do we use it for and on what legal basis?

  • Answering your enquiries (form, email or phone). Legal basis: your consent, which you give when you send the enquiry and can withdraw at any time.
  • Commercial and administrative management: quotes, orders and shipping logistics. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
  • Legal compliance: invoicing and tax obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.

4. How long do we keep it?

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer you and for no more than 12 months if they do not lead to a business relationship. Customer and supplier data are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by law (for example, 6 years for commercial and tax records).

5. Who do we share it with?

Your data stays with us: we do not sell, rent or pass it on. We only share it when the law requires us to (for example, with the Spanish Tax Agency) and with the providers of essential technical services (accountancy, website hosting and maintenance), who act as data processors under contract and with the same level of protection.

6. Security

The website always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and we apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.

7. Your rights

You are in control of your information. At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent.

Write to us at milco@milcofruit.com with the subject “Data protection”, stating which right you wish to exercise and proving your identity. If you believe we have not processed your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
